The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Luigi Di Maio, had a telephone conversation with the United Kingdom’s Foreign Secretary, Elizabeth Truss.
The agenda included bilateral relations between Italy and the United Kingdom, and between the latter and the European Union following Brexit. During the conversation, satisfaction was also expressed for the collaboration between Italy and the United Kingdom during Italy’s Presidency of the G20 and Britain’s Presidency of the G7, as well as the Presidency Partnership for COP 26.
