Balkans – new Serbia-Kosovo agreements welcomed

Italy welcomes the conclusion – as part of the dialogue facilitated by the EU – of new agreements between Serbia and Kosovo on telecommunications, energy, Serbian municipalities in Kosovo and the Mitrovica bridge. This result opens up new prospects for both countries’ further European integration. The process of normalising relations, and people’s daily lives, bears witness to the genuine will on the part of Belgrade and Pristina to continue on the pathway they embarked on in 2013. The European Union will support and encourage them in further strengthening this intention.
