The Foreign Ministry supports the internationalisation of the Italian University network in the world

The Foreign Ministry’s support to the internationalisation processes of the Italian production, cultural, research and university systems will be the focus of the speech that Director General De Luca will deliver today at the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. The Foreign Ministry supports the growing internationalisation of the Italian university system by awarding scholarships to foreign students and organising internships with the Ministry’s network of connections.

The Ministry closely cooperates with the Venetian University especially in the field of archaeology and in promoting the study of the Italian language abroad. Some of the most relevant projects involve the organisation of the first e-learning training and refresher course for over 200 Italian teachers abroad, which was launched in partnership with the Ca’ Foscari University in December 2015; bilateral Researcher Mobility projects; the exhibition “Iran 1848-1864. Italian Photographic Research Studies” organised by Professor Alberto Prandi of the Department of Philosophy and Cultural Heritage of the Ca’ Foscari University in partnership with the Directorate General for Cultural and Economic Promotion and Innovation, which is scheduled to open next September at the Golestan Palace Museum of Tehran.
