It was presented jointly today at the Farnesina by the National Association of Construction Companies (ANCE) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. The meeting was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Paolo Gentiloni, the Foreign Ministry’s Director General for Cultural and Economic Promotion and Innovation, Vincenzo De Luca, and the VicePresident of ANCE, Giandomenico Ghella.

Special mention should be made of the marked increase in the presence of Italian construction companies in the most advanced markets : 7 billion euros worth of contracts in 21 OECD countries. They accounted for 0ver 50 percent of all contracts signed in 2015.

The data presented by ANCE 2016 showed that Italian construction companies were well established abroad, a result which was also due to the intense work of diplomatic economy, with the Farnesina playing a leading role, together with the Ministry of Economic Development, Italy’s Trade Agency – ICE, Sace, Simest and the banking system.
