The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Angelino Alfano, expresses his solidarity with the State of Israel for the violent terrorist attack in Jerusalem. Alfano confirms once again that “our country is committed to combating the strategy of terror with every means”.
“I also feel close to the people of Syria and Iraq who suffered two new horrible attacks in the cities of Damascus and Baghdad and I express my deepest condolences to the families of all the innocent victims,” Minister Alfano said.
“On Monday I will be travelling on a mission to New York to attend the first meeting of the Security Council for 2017 and, both there and in the G7 we are chairing, I shall strongly reiterate the need to provide a joint and effective response to international terrorism,” concluded the Minister.
