“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs plays a key role in supporting Italian businesses, particularly thanks to the activity performed daily by the diplomatic network. This key role must be promoted more widely, so that businesses are aware of it are able to count on it.
To this end, economic diplomacy is a strategic priority of my mandate at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Foreign policy is a valuable tool for helping businesses in their growth and internationalisation process”, said Minister Alfano ahead of his address during the forty-sixth stop of the Internationalisation Roadshow in Pescara on 19th April at 9.30.
The Minister’s participation in the Roadshow for Internationalisation is part of the “Farnesina meets businesses” programme, aimed at bringing Institutions closer to companies and updating them on how the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the network of Embassies and Consulates around the world are working actively to support the Italian manufacturing sector, providing companies with constant institutional support together with local authorities.
In this context, Alfano travelled to Turin (7 March) and Udine (12 March) and will be visiting other major Italian cities in the coming months.
