MINISTER MOAVERO’S CONGRATULATIONS FOR THE AGREEMENT ON THE COUNTRY’S NAME

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Enzo Moavero Milanesi stated: “On behalf of the Italian Government, I convey my heartfelt congratulations to Prime Ministers Tsipras and Zaev and to Foreign Ministers Dimitrov and Kotzias. The agreement signed today by Athens and Skopje on the Country’s name is a history-making step towards strengthening the area’s regional cooperation, stability and prosperity and the EU accession process of the Western Balkan States. These are three goals that Italy supports and deems to be of primary importance for the whole continent.”
