“I wish to express my own and the whole Foreign Ministry’s grieved closeness with the families of the victims and the people injured in the collapse of the Morandi Bridge in Genoa and with the many residents obliged to leave their homes. We stand by the whole city. The tragedy has also deeply shaken the Countries that are our friends in Europe and in the world, which continue to send us messages of sympathy, solidarity and condolences, of which we are deeply grateful,” said the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Enzo Moavero Milanesi.
