Undersecretary Di Stefano at the opening day of the 58th Genoa Boat Show

​Today, the Undersecretary for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Manlio Di Stefano, attended the opening day of the 58th Genoa Boat Show. 
 
After the opening ceremony, the Undersecretary took part in the round table “Global champions, the boating industry and a country that wins”. It was attended by representatives of the Institutions and the business community to offer full support to this driving force of the Italian economy on behalf of the Farnesina, and in particular the Directorate General for Cultural and Economic Promotion and Innovation, and the Italian network of 200 Embassies and Consulates, particularly relevant within the framework of the Situation Room for Internationalisation, along with the Institute for Foreign Trade, Cassa Depositi e PrestitiSace and Simest.
 
“In Italy, the boating industry is the fifth ranked sector in terms of export, generating 1.5% of GDP and thousands of jobs. Italian boating companies are a national source of pride worldwide, combining technology, innovation, design, sustainability and beauty,” the Undersecretary said. “We can provide financial and political support, as well as detailed market analyses, which will benefit all Italian entrepreneurs, whether small, medium or large.”
