The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Enzo Moavero Milanesi, today had a telephone conversation with the Romanian Minister for European Affairs, George Ciamba, who now, under Romania’s rotating presidency of EU Council, chairs the EU “General Affairs” Council of Ministers.
The conversation touched upon the most topical European issues, and in particular the state of discussions on the possible future opening of negotiations over the access of Albania and North Macedonia to the European Union pursuant to the recent positive formal recommendation issued by the European Commission.
