The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Enzo Moavero Milanesi, met with the Deputy Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia, Marija Pejčinović Burić, at the Farnesina today. The meeting allowed for an extensive exchange of views and a review of the different issues which were discussed at the recent Trieste Summit of the Foreign Ministers of the member States of the Central-European Initiative (CEI) and included in the “Trieste Declaration” that was formally adopted at the meeting. Minister Moavero and the Deputy Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia, Marija Pejčinović Burić, also discussed the main themes regarding the European Union with special attention to the first Croatian Presidency of the Council of the European Union due to start in January 2020.
