Serbia – Kosovo Dialogue

Italy welcomes today’s video-meeting in Brussels which marks the resumption of the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina under EU facilitation. While recalling our steadfast support to the legitimate EU aspirations of Kosovo and Serbia, we encourage both sides to work with open mind and forward looking approach, in line with their European perspective. We firmly support EU Special Representative Miroslav Lajcak’s facilitation in the search for a sustainable and durable agreement that ensures peace and stability in the region and we welcome any initiative aimed at strengthening EUSR Lajcak’s efforts.
