The Council of Ministers today approved the bill authorising the ratification of the Italy-Libya Agreement for the avoidance of double taxation in tax matters.
This is a concrete follow-up – encouraged by Minister Di Maio – to the recent visits to Tripoli by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Prime Minister. Strongly requested also by the Libyan side, the agreement will be an important tool to support bilateral economic relations, following the endorsement of the new transitional unitary government in Libya, and to facilitate the work of businesses.
