The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Luigi Di Maio, is in Luxembourg today for the Foreign Affairs Council. The agenda includes an exchange of views on the main topics of current international affairs, including Belarus, Latin America, and Iraq. Special attention is devoted to the latter topic, with a luncheon with Foreign Minister Hussein also on Italy’s initiative.
At the end of the meeting Minister Di Maio will leave for a two-day mission to the Balkans. The first destination of the visit will be Belgrade, where the Foreign Minister will meet the Serbian Prime Minister, Ana Brnabić, the President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, and his Serbian counterpart, Nikola Selaković.
Tomorrow afternoon, Minister Di Maio is flying to Pristina. He will have talks with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs, Donika Gervalla-Schwarz, with the Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, and the President of the Kosovo Assembly, Glauk Konjufca. Finally Minister Di Maio will deliver a speech before the Kosovo Assembly.
