FOREIGN MINISTRY NOTE – Minister Luigi Di Maio’s mission to Paris to participate in the OECD Ministerial Meeting

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Luigi Di Maio, will be on a mission to Paris on 5 and 6 October to participate in the OECD Ministerial Meeting (Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development), which is held this year on the 60th anniversary of its foundation.

The title chosen for the meeting, “Building a Green and Inclusive Future”, recalls the priorities that are at the heart of the Italian Presidency of the G20 and the co-Presidency of COP26, thus reaffirming the strong attention that Italy and the international community pay to the theme of sustainable and inclusive development, while respecting the dignity of people.

Minister Di Maio will be speaking at the plenary session on the afternoon of Tuesday 5 October, and is also planning a series of bilateral meetings on the sidelines, with the Foreign Ministers of the OECD countries.
