Italy keeps following with concern the serious events taking place in Kazakhstan and renews its appeal to end the use of force in the country.
The Italian Embassy in Nur Sultan remains operational and in constant connection with the Crisis Unit at the Farnesina HQ and with the other diplomatic missions of the European Union in the country.
Despite the current disruptions in telecommunications, the Embassy keeps contact with Italian citizens and companies in the country to provide assistance, when necessary.
The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises against non-essential travel to Kazakhstan.
