Given the deteriorating security situation in Kiev it is impossible to ensure that the Embassy of Italy can perform its functions in full. The Embassy in Kiev is therefore being transferred to Lviv. This will enable it, like other embassies previously based in Kiev and that have already been transferred, to continue to perform its functions.
