An additional Farnesina support programme for micro-enterprises in Italy is about to be launched, with the opening of registration for suppliers and beneficiaries in the “Digital Export Bonus” programme. With a budget of €30 million, the programme will support spending by micro-enterprises in Italy to procure digital services and products that will help increase Italian exports.
The grant consists of up to €4,000 for expenditure of at least €5,000 (€22,500 for every €25,000 spent, in the case of consortia or networks of at least five micro-enterprises). All micro-businesses incurring eligible expenditure in the digitalisation field can apply.
Supplier businesses can register with the programme from 28 April to 15 July 2022. Registration is online, through the “Bonus Export Digitale” section of the Invitalia website www.invitalia.it. If they meet the requirements they will then be included in the list of suppliers.
Micro-enterprises applying for grants should submit their applications from 10 May to 15 July 2022, again online. Beneficiaries will then be able to make their planned purchases and receive their grants, subject to submitting documentation of the expenditure.
“Even in this difficult political period in Europe”, underscored the Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Luigi Di Maio, “support for exports and business digitalisation continue to be priorities for the Farnesina, in line with the Pact for Exports. We are making full use of the resources allocated to strengthen the capacity of the Italian productive system in foreign and online markets”.
