The Deputy prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Hon. Antonio Tajani, opens the Conference Growth Diplomacy towards Expo 2025 Osaka at the Foreign Ministry.
Minister Tajani said: “Since the beginning of my term of office, I have placed support for the internationalisation of Italy’s business system at the centre of the Foreign Ministry’s action: a projection that is also based on major international events.” He also added that “participation in Expo 2025 Osaka is an extraordinary opportunity to promote Italian know-how and entrepreneurial fabric abroad”.
Companies and trade associations, including Unindustria, Federlazio, ANCE, and CONFAPI, will take part in the event, organised in cooperation with the Lazio Region. Besides Minister Tajani, the President of the Lazio Region, Francesco Rocca, the Commissioner General for Italy at Expo 2025 Osaka, Mario Vattani, the Director General of the Italian Trade Agency (ICE), Lorenzo Galanti, and the President of Lazio Innova, Francesco Marcolini, will also speak.
During the Conference, the trade associations of the industry and infrastructure sector of the Lazio Region and Commissioner General Vattani will sign an agreement to enhance the opportunities for economic growth and development that participation in Expo 2025 Osaka provides.
President Rocca said: “Thanks to the signing of this agreement, which projects us towards Expo Osaka 2025, the Lazio Region – in line with national strategic guidelines, is collaborating with all institutional players. Our goal is to contribute to strengthening the Italian production system abroad.”
