Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani will participate today at approximately 6:15 p.m. in the Festival “Umano Tutto Intero“, an initiative dedicated to the topics of peace, interreligious dialogue, and the protection of human dignity.
Minister Tajani will participate with Cardinal Matteo Zuppi in a dialogue focused on possible paths to peace, to illustrate the Foreign Ministry’s initiatives to support the most vulnerable communities – also through the Fund for Christian Minorities and development cooperation programmes aimed at promoting assistance, interreligious dialogue, and social cohesion.
The Minister will focus on the centrality of diplomacy in conflict prevention and resolution, also reaffirming the Government’s commitment to the protection of religious freedom, with particular reference to Christian communities facing persecution in crisis areas.
