The journey towards the 2026 National Export Conference continues with the second stage dedicated to the territories and businesses in Southern Italy, scheduled for 16 June in Bari at the Nuova Fiera del Levante.

The initiative “Export Objective: Businesses and territories in Southern Italy”, promoted by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Antonio Tajani and implemented by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in collaboration with Italian Trade Agency, CDP, SACE and SIMEST, and with the support of Unioncamere and Confindustria, will take place in Bari.

The preparatory path towards the National Export Conference provides a platform for dialogue aimed at jointly developing, together with the local productive ecosystem, a strategy to support internationalisation and promote Made in Italy, in line with the objectives of the Export Action Plan.

The Bari event is open to all businesses and business associations from the Southern Italian regions: Puglia, Molise, Campania, Basilicata, Calabria and Sicily.

In addition to attending the conference, participating companies will be able to hold B2B meetings with:

  • Heads of Commercial Offices of Italian Embassies in Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Serbia, Romania, the United Arab Emirates, Kenya, Mexico and South Korea
  • Directors of Italian Trade Agency offices in Albania, Germany, the United Kingdom, Spain, Switzerland and Türkiye
  • Experts from Italian Trade Agency, SACE, SIMEST and CDP

The programme is completed by two working sessions open to all participants:

Growth Lab – Innovation and Start-ups: dedicated to enhancing start-ups and innovative SMEs, and to exploring the international promotion and support tools offered by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Italian System agencies for new high-tech projects.

Growth Lab – Culture: aimed at exploring and developing internationalisation pathways for centres of excellence and creative cultural industries in the region.

Participation is free of charge, subject to registration by 13 June 2026 on the dedicated platform: EVENTI SISTEMA PAESE – OBIETTIVO EXPORT – Imprese e territori del Sud Italia
