Applications are now open for innovative Italian startups and SMEs to participate in two of the main international events dedicated to technological innovation: the Singapore Fintech Festival 2026, scheduled for November 18-20, 2026, and the Web Summit 2026, to be held in Lisbon from November 9-12, 2026.

These initiatives are promoted by the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) with the coordination of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, as part of the activities supporting the internationalization of innovative Italian startups and SMEs and their presence in the main global innovation ecosystems.

For both events, the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) is organizing collective Italian participation within the respective national Pavilions, providing selected companies the opportunity to present innovative solutions, products, and services in high-profile international contexts.

The Singapore Fintech Festival is one of the world’s leading events dedicated to the fintech sector and takes place in one of Asia’s most dynamic hubs. Singapore is in fact home to the largest number of fintech unicorns in the ASEAN-6 region and is characterized by an ecosystem geared toward the adoption of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, blockchain, and quantum computing. The call is targeted to innovative Italian startups and SMEs active in the Fintech and Insurtech sectors, with a particular focus on areas such as digital payments, neobanking, fintech-as-a-service, embedded finance, crypto infrastructure, and innovative insurance solutions.

The deadline for applications is May 31, 2026.

The Lisbon Web Summit is one of the most important technology events globally and a meeting point for startups, companies, investors, media, and digital innovation professionals. The 2025 edition of the event attracted 71,386 visitors from 157 countries, 1,857 investors, and 2,725 startup exhibitors, with a strong focus on artificial intelligence. The Italian collective participation is aimed at innovative startups and SMEs operating in technology and highly innovative sectors.

The deadline for submitting applications is June 8, 2026.

Through these initiatives, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Italian Trade Agency reaffirm their commitment to strengthening the international presence of the Italian innovation ecosystem, fostering new opportunities for visibility, networking, and commercial development for innovative startups and SMEs in foreign markets.

Participation is free; participants shall bear the costs for travel, boarding, lodging, and any additional costs not included in the information circulars.
