Italy and the Latin American Continent meet at the Farnesina

On 13 December the Farnesina will host the 8th Italy-Latin American and Carribean Conference, which is part of the fiftieth anniversary celebrations of the establishment of the Italy-Latin  America Institute (IILA). It represents the most important forum in which to meet and engage in furthering dialogue between Italy and the Latin American Continent. About 200 high-level participants are expected to attend – Italian and Latin American Ministers, technical consultants, experts, embassy representatives, and executives. The Foreign Ministers of Colombia, Bolivia, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Dominica and Saint Lucia will be among the participants, together with many representatives of the Italian political and entrepreneurial world. The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Angelino Alfano, will deliver the opening remarks.

Minister Alfano and Vice Minister Giro will have bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the Conference.
