Undersecretary Ivan Scalfarotto attended the extraordinary video-conference meeting of the Heads of Government of the member countries of the Central European Initiative (InCE). It is one of the initiatives promoted by the Montenegrin Presidency on-duty related to the health emergency.
During his speech, Scalfarotto highlighted the importance of regional cooperation in the fight against the pandemic, not only in the management of the health emergency but also in the current phase of recovery of economic activities. In this regard, the Undersecretary recalled the importance of safeguarding one of the sectors most affected by the crisis, such as tourism, by harmonizing measures to reopen borders.
Finally, he expressed appreciation for the cooperation between InCE and WHO on the prevention and containment of the pandemic.
