At the end of fruitful negotiations, the Youth7 (Y7) delegates, the G7 engagement group dedicated to youth, prepared a final communiqué to be delivered to the G7 Leaders, outlining the priorities identified by young people in the member countries to address the main global issues of our times.
The final communiqué underlines that the economic and social crisis caused by COVID-19 pandemic requires an ambitious response from G7 countries. The Y7 youth called on global leaders to strengthen multilateral coordination with a particular focus on environmental sustainability, global solidarity and the new challenges produced by digitisation.
The Italian delegation, selected by the Young Ambassador Society in cooperation with the Italian Government and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, was composed this year by four talented young people: Nicola Bilotta, Vanessa Boi, Sergio Nova and Francesca Voce.
