On Monday, 27 September 2021, the first of the four stages of a virtual roadshow sponsored by the Foreign Ministry, SACE, SIMEST and the ICE Agency, in collaboration with the Conference of Regions and Autonomous Provinces and Unioncamere, will hit the road to present Italian companies with the latest news on services and support tools for internationalisation made available by the System for Italy’s economic promotion and innovation, through the one stop shop Export.Gov.it.
The meetings, live-streamed by the Regions, will be a great opportunity to retrace the “exporter’s journey” and the 7 fundamental steps for planning how to gain a foothold in foreign marketplaces and perfect the strategy for business internationalisation.
The first of the four stages, scheduled for September 27, from 10 to 12:30, will be dedicated to the Southern regions (Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Molise, Apulia and Sicily).
This will be followed on 20 October by the North-East stage, featuring Emilia-Romagna, Friuli Venezia Giulia, the Autonomous Province of Bolzano, the Autonomous Province of Trento, Veneto and Tuscany.
On Thursday, 18 November, the North-West stage will focus on Liguria, Lombardy, Piedmont and Valle d’Aosta, and finally on 14 December, the Central Italy stage will be dedicated to Abruzzi, Latium, Marche, Sardinia and Umbria.
The first stage will be opened by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs responsible for business internationalisation, Manlio Di Stefano, together with the President of the ICE Agency, Carlo Ferro, and the Managing Director of SACE, Pierfrancesco Latini. This will be followed by an in-depth session on the processes for expanding a business abroad and a focus on regional tools.
All interested companies will be able to follow the proceedings live online, with the opportunity to interact by asking questions during the Q&A session.
