On Thursday 7 March 2013, within the context of her visit to Rome, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II will make a visit to the Pantheon in the historic centre of Rome.
Journalists and camera operators interested in covering the event are asked to apply for accreditation no later than 12:00 noon on Friday March 1st.
Please note that press intending to cover Her Majesty’s visit to the Pantheon will not be able to cover her departure on 7 March from Ciampino Military Airport for reasons of schedule conflict.
Journalists and camera operators interested in covering the event are asked to apply for accreditation by completing the interactive form available at the link http://mae.accreditationsystem.info/ITA/Indice.asp to which all required documentation can be attached in digital format.
If in exceptional cases it is not possible to complete the online accreditation procedure, applications in writing on company letterhead and signed by the director of the organisation concerned—indicating name, surname, date and place of birth, number of a valid ID document and qualification—should be sent by fax to the Press Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (tel. 063691.3432 fax 06.3691.2122).
Accreditation badges will be distributed in person upon presentation of a valid ID document at the Press Accreditation Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, rear entrance in Via della Macchia della Farnesina on Thursday 7 March 2013 between the hours of 8:00 and 9:00.
It will not be possible to access the Pantheon without submitting to a security search or with private vehicles. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will provide a shuttle service between the Ministry and the Pantheon.
