Minister for Foreign Affairs Emma Bonino will meet on Thursday 9 May 2013 at 16:30 with U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry.
Minister Bonino and Secretary of State Kerry will hold a joint press conference at the conclusion of the meeting.
Journalists and camera operators interested in covering the press conference are asked to apply for accreditation by completing the interactive form available at the link http://mae.accreditationsystem.info/ITA/Indice.asp to which all required documentation can be attached in digital format (letter company letterhead and signed by the director of the organisation concerned indicating name, surname, date and place of birth, number of a valid ID document and qualification) no later than 20:00 on 8 May 2013.
If in exceptional cases it is not possible to complete the online accreditation procedure, applications in writing should be sent by fax to the Press Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (tel. 063691.3432 fax 06.3691.2122).
Accreditation badges will be distributed in person only, at the rear entrance to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in between the hours of 15:30 and 16:15 on 9 May.
Please note that via Macchia della Farnesina will be open to the transit and unloading of television equipment but closed to vehicle parking, which will be available alongside the adjacent Olympic Stadium.
Requests to set up satellite broadcast locations, complete with license plate numbers and models of the vehicles in question and the names of the operating technicians must be communicated via fax (06/3691.2122) or e-mail (accreditamentostampa@esteri.it). Broadcasters that have completed these procedures may position their satellite vehicles on Thursday 9 May between the hours of 8:00 and 9:30.
