ACCREDITATION NOTICE RECALL: Minister Bonino to present Italy-Africa Initiative CHANGE OF ENTRY POINT (Farnesina, 30 December 2013)

At 15.30 on Monday 30 December Foreign Minister Emma Bonino will hold a press conference at the Foreign Ministry along with the Minister for Cultural Activities and Tourism, Massimo Bray, and the Minister for Integration, Cecile Kyenge, to present the Italy-Africa Initiative. Also taking part will be Deputy Minister Lapo Pistelli and the Under-Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Mario Giro.


With this initiative, Italy intends to revitalise its relations with the countries of Sub-Saharan Africa by promoting a varied programme of initiatives involving all possible spheres of collaboration. These will range from politics to the economy, culture to development cooperation, and from education to sustainable growth.


Online accreditation system. Journalists, photographers and TV crews interested in following the event should:- complete the interactive form available at http://mae.accreditationsystem.info/ITA/Indice.asp– attach all required documentation (if not already submitted) to the form, in digital format


Required documentation: – photo- a letter from your media organisation-for foreign journalists in Italy: a note verbale issued by the Embassy in Rome of your media organisation’s country.


If you are unable to complete the online accreditation procedure, please send your application by fax to the Foreign Ministry’s Press and Institutional Communication Service (tel. 06/3691.3432 – fax 06/3691.2122) or by email to accreditamentostampa@esteri.it.


Accredited journalists, photographers and TV crews should enter the Ministry by the main entrance, left side, and not the rear entrance in Via della Macchia della Farnesina as previously reported, from 14.45 onwards.
