On Monday 27 January 2014 at 10:00, Minister for Foreign Affairs Emma Bonino will open the sessions of the conference “Intellectual Property: strategic economic development factor in a global market”, at the foreign ministry in Rome.
The economic importance and potential of intellectual property for Italian designers, inventors and innovators in an evolving international context will be the conference’s central theme, offering an opportunity for raising awareness and generating debate among representatives of political, institutional, academic and business spheres.
Minister for Economic Development Flavio Zanonato will close the conference at 17:00.

Accredited members of the press will be admitted at the main entrance to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs – left side – beginning at 9:00.
