A ceremony will be held on Tuesday 18 February 2014 to celebrate the Lateran Pacts and the revision of the Concordat. The ceremony will take place at the Italian Embassy to the Holy See (Palazzo Borromeo) in the presence of senior figures from the institutions of the State and of the Catholic Church.
The bilateral government meetings will begin at 16.45.
The necessary security checks will take place at the Farnesina only, as described below.
You will not be allowed to enter Palazzo Borromeo without first going through the security checks and may not use your own vehicles. The Foreign Ministry will provide a shuttle service between the Farnesina (rear entrance, Via Macchia della Farnesina) and Palazzo Borromeo.
Accredited photographers and TV crews should report to the Foreign Ministry – rear entrance at “via della Macchia della Farnesina” – from 14:30 up to, and no later than, 15:30 on Tuesday 18 February. Please be punctual.
Accredited journalists should report to the Foreign Ministry – rear entrance at “via della Macchia della Farnesina” – from 15:15 up to, and no later than, 15.45 on Tuesday 18 February. Please be punctual.
