Thursday 3 April 2014: arrival at Rome’s Ciampino Military Airport of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and her departure on the same day.
Online accreditation system. Journalists, photographers and TV crews interested in following the event should:
– complete the interactive form available at http://mae.accreditationsystem.info/ITA/Indice.asp
– attach all required documentation (if not already submitted) to the form, in digital format
Required documentation:
– a letter from your media organisation
– for foreign journalists in Italy: a note verbale issued by the Embassy in Rome of your media organisation’s country.
If you are unable to complete the online accreditation procedure, please send your applicationby fax, on your media organisation’s letterhead, to the Foreign Ministry’s Press and Institutional Communication Service (tel. 06/3691.3432 – fax 06/3691.2122).
Accredited photographers and camera operators interested in covering the Queen’s arrival should report to “Aviazione Generale” at Ciampino Airport no later than 10:15 on 3 April; those interested in covering the Queen’s departure should report to the same location no later and 14:30 on the same day.
Satellite positioning requests must include the license plate number and model of the vehicles involved and the names of their drivers and be communicated by email to accreditamentostampa@esteri.it. The vehicles must report to Ciampino Military Airport “31° stormo” at 9:15.
