An Informal meeting of European Union Foreign Ministers (Gymnich), will take place on 29 and 30 August at the MiCo Congress Centre in Milan under the Italian EU Presidency. The Informal will be chaired by the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Catherine Ashton, and hosted by Foreign Minister Federica Mogherini.
The High Representative and Minister Mogherini will welcome the Heads of Delegation at 13.00 on 29 July and then open the Meeting.
Proceedings will continue on 30 August and close with a joint press conference by Ashton and Mogherini.
Attending the event will be the Foreign Ministers of the 28 member states and representatives of the European Union institutions.

Journalists, television crews and photographers interested in following the event must apply for specific accreditation no later than 16.00 of Thursday 28 August 2014.
ONLINE ACCREDITATION PROCEDURE
Journalists, television crews and photographers interested in following the event will find all the necessary information on the Italian Presidency Portal www.italia2014.eu, through which they can submit an online accreditation application for Presidency events.
To apply for accreditation online, you must first register at http://www.italia2014registration.eu. You will be required to fill in a form, upload a photo (in JPG format only) and a scanned copy of the following documents (in JPG or PDF format only):
– your current passport or identity document
– a letter from your media organisation (or, if a letter is not available, your press card)
– for free-lancers: your press card (obligatory)
If you have already registered with the Foreign Ministry accreditation system you will receive a system message when you first register through the Presidency portal. This will allow you to recover the registration details and information and documents you have already entered and/or uploaded.
Once your documentation is complete and up-to-date and you have registered online, you will be able to register for any events you wish to attend. To do so, access your profile (through http://www.italia2014registration.eu), and select the event you wish to register for.
PRESS ACCREDITATION OFFICE (MILAN, MICO)
The Press Accreditation Office in Milan at the MiCo Congress Centre is located in Via Gattamelata (Gate 16). The opening hours (for the Gymnich meeting) are:
Thursday 28 August from 16.00 to 19.00
Friday 29 August from 9.30 to 19.00
Saturday 30 August from 8.30 to 11.30.
The press room will be open from 9.30 to 19.00 of 29 August and from 8.30 to 16.00 of 30 August.
For live filming of the press conference, applications must be submitted by email to accreditamentostampa@esteri.it and must include the type of vehicle to be used and its registration number.
