In the context of the Healthy Work Places 2014-2015 campaign of the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work, the Farnesina will host an awareness-raising event on Wednesday 5 November 2014, entitled “Working together to prevent and manage work-related stress”, organized in collaboration with INAIL, which is Italy’s focal point for the campaign.
An introduction by Under-Secretary for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Benedetto Della Vedova will be followed by the presentations of INAIL Central Director for Prevention Ester Rotoli, Head of the Farnesina Crisis Unit Claudio Taffuri, Director of the Department of Medicine, Epidemiology and Work Place Health Sergio Iavicoli. Moderating the discussions will be Radio Capital journalist Andrea Lucatello and MAECI President of the Guarantee Committee, Counsellor Sabrina Ugolini. The sessions will be concluded by Ambassador Elisabetta Belloni, MAECI Director General for Resources and Innovation.
Institutional representatives, workers, journalists and psychology experts will examine various work-related stress scenarios with a view to raising awareness and facilitating prevention.
Themes treated will include stress-management in the Farnesina Crisis Unit, tools for the prevention and management of work-related stress, the experience of the special desk set up at the MAECI and the questionnaire on organizational wellbeing.
