A press conference will be held at 10:30 on 10 November 2014 at the Farnesina for the presentation of the Year of Italy in Latin America 2015 in the presence of the diplomatic corps accredited in Italy.
The Year of Italy in Latin America will feature a calendar of more than one thousand events, including art exhibits, film screenings, music, theatre, design and literature, all aimed at bringing the best of our country to the continent of Latin America. Its two-fold objective is to foreground the already strong presence of Italians on that continent and to lay the groundwork for the two nations’ ever-increasing cultural, economic, scientific and technological integration.
The conference with open with the official presentation of the logo and calendar of events by Under-Secretary for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Mario Giro and Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Argentina Eduardo Zuain.
Other notable attendees will include Moni Ovadia and Renzo Arbore.
