A cultural event within the context of the Italy-Africa Initiative, entitled “Italy and Africa, between Culture and Ethnology”, will take place at 9:30 on Wednesday 19 November 2014 at Villa Madama in Rome.
Speakers are to include Under-Secretary for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Mario Giro, President of Senegal Macki Sall, City of Rome Alderman for Culture Giovanna Marinelli, Secretary General of the Ministry of Culture Antonia Pasqua Recchia and creator of the “Imago Mundi” project Luciano Benetton.
Online accreditation system. Journalists, photographers and TV crews interested in following the event should:

– attach all required documentation (if not already submitted) to the form, in digital format
Required documentation:
– a letter from your media organisation
– for foreign journalists in Italy: a note verbale issued by the Embassy in Rome of your media organisation’s country.
If you are unable to complete the online accreditation procedure, please send your applicationby fax, on your media organisation’s letterhead, to the Foreign Ministry’s Press and Institutional Communication Service (tel. 06/3691.3432-8573-8210).
Accredited members of the press may pick up their badges at the rear entrance to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs – Via Macchia della Farnesina – between 8:30 and 9:15.
A shuttle service will be running between the Farnesina and Villa Madama, which is closed to private vehicles, starting at 8:30.
