Rettifica: Foro italo-latino americano sulle piccole e medie imprese – Pymes (Villa Madama, 12 dicembre 2014)

The closing event of the Italian-Latin American Forum on Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises –PYMES will take place from 09.00 to 18.30 on Friday 12 December 2014 at Villa Madama. The Forum was organised by the Farnesina and the Italian-Latin American Institute (IILA).


The proceedings will be opened by the Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MFAIC), Paolo Gentiloni; the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the United Mexican States, José Antonio Meade; and the Director General for Global Affairs at the MFAIC, Luigi Marras.


The closing session is scheduled to take place at 17.30, with speeches by the Under-Secretary for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Mario Giro; the Secretary General of the Italy-Latin American Institute (IILA), Giorgio Malfatti di Monte Tretto; and the President of the IILA, Miguel Ruiz-Cabañas Izquierdo.


Numerous representatives of Italian and Latin American businesses will also be attending the forum, whose aim is to promote collaboration for sustainable development and strengthen the political dialogue between Italy, Latin America and the Caribbean.


Two panels are planned:


1st Panel (10.15-12-30)


“How to increase the competitiveness of the PYMES in times of crisis. Positive experiences and key requirements”


Moderator: Riccardo Monti, President of ICE-Italian Trade Agency.


2nd Panel II (14.30-17.00)


“Proposals and modes of Italian-Latin American collaboration to strengthen PYMES productive systems”.


Moderator: Stefano Giovannelli, President of Toscana Promozione.


Online accreditation system


Journalists, photographers and TV crews interested in following the event should:


– complete the interactive form available at http://mae.accreditationsystem.info/ITA/Indice.asp


– attach all required documentation (if not already submitted) to the form, in digital format


Required digital documentation:


– a letter from your media organisation


– for foreign journalists in Italy: a note verbale issued by the Embassy in Rome of your media organisation’s country.

Since Villa Madama is closed to private vehicles, there will be a shuttle service between the Ministry and Villa Madama, starting at 08.00.


Accreditation passes must be collected in person from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation – central entrance (right-hand side) – from 08.00 until the end of the event on Friday 12 December 2014.
