The Embassy of Italy to the Holy See (Palazzo Boromeo) will host the celebration of the anniversary of the Lateran Pacts and the Accord for the Amendment of the Concordato on Tuesday 17 March in the presence of the highest institutional representatives of State and of the Catholic Church.
Bilateral governmental meetings will begin at 16:15.
Online accreditation system. Journalists, photographers and TV crews interested in following the event should:

– attach all required documentation (if not already submitted) to the form, in digital format
Required documentation:
– a letter from your media organisation
– for foreign journalists in Italy: a note verbale issued by the Embassy in Rome of your media organisation’s country.
If you are unable to complete the online accreditation procedure, please send your application by fax, on your media organisation’s letterhead, to the Foreign Ministry’s Press and Institutional Communication Service (tel. 06/3691.3432-8573).
Requests for accreditation must be submitted no later than 13:00 on 16 February 2015.
Security checks will take place exclusively at the Farnesina according to the following outline:
No one will be admitted to Palazzo Boromeo without having undergone the abovementioned security checks, and no private vehicles will be allowed. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will provide shuttle service between the Farnesina (rear entrance in Via Macchia della Farnesina) and Palazzo Boromeo.
Photographers and TV crews are asked to report to the rear entrance to the Farnesina – Via della Macchia della Farnesina – between 14:00 and 14:45 on Tuesday 17 February (maximum punctuality is requested).
Accredited journalists are asked to report to the rear entrance to the Farnesina – Via della Macchia della Farnesina – between 14:15 and 15:00 on Tuesday 17 February (maximum punctuality is requested).
Proper attire is obligatory.
In the case of live coverage, please communicate license plate numbers of vehicles and names of technical personnel in order to arrange for authorisation to operate exclusively outside Palazzo Boromeo (accreditamentostampa@esteri.it).
