ACCREDITATION NOTICE Recall – Conference “From the world to the Farnesina: the coexistence of differences” (Thusday 19 March, 10:30)

At 10:30 on Thursday 19 March the Farnesina will host a conference entitled “From the world to the Farnesina: the coexistence of differences” sponsored by the Comitato Unico di Garanzia of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and is an awareness raising initiative within the framework of the national campaign “Switch on your mind, shut off your prejudices”.

The event is part of the XI Anti-Racism Week (16-22 March) organised by the UNAR – the anti-racism office of the Department of Equal Opportunities of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.

Secretary General of the Farnesina Michele Valensise and Head of the Office of Equal Opportunities of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers Ermenegilda Siniscalchi will open the conference sessions. Other speakers will include President of the Farnesina’s Interministerial Committee for Human Rights (CIDU) Gianludovico de Martino and UNAR Director Marco De Giorgi.

Farnesina Director General for Resources and Innovation Elisabetta Belloni will deliver the closing remarks.

Online accreditation system. Journalists, photographers and TV crews interested in following the event should:

– attach all required documentation (if not already submitted) to the form, in digital format

Required documentation:

– a letter from your media organisation

– for foreign journalists in Italy: a note verbale issued by the Embassy in Rome of your media organisation’s country.

If you are unable to complete the online accreditation procedure, please send your application by fax, on your media organisation’s letterhead, to the Foreign Ministry’s Press and Institutional Communication Service (tel. 06/3691.3432-8573-8210).

Accredited members of the press will be admitted at the main entrance to the Foreign Ministry, left side, at 10:00.
