Accreditation Notice – Reminder: Farnesina-Confindustria conference on sustainable development (Farnesina, 24 April 2015)

A reminder that the Farnesina will host a conference at 9:30 on 24 April entitled “The Role of Business for Sustainable Development”, in the presence of the Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Paolo Gentiloni.

Other participants in the debate, organised by the AVSI Foundation and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, will include Deputy Minister for Development Cooperation Lapo Pistelli, President of Confindustria Giorgio Squinzi and other representatives of institutions, businesses and the non-profit sector.

The meeting will examine cases of alliances between businesses and civil society associations along with two very topical challenges: respect for human rights as a factor in business success, and inclusive finance. Other topics will include the proposal of an “Italian development bank”, social impact financing and the social value of savings.

Journalists, photographers and TV crews interested in following the event should:

–      complete the interactive form available at http://mae.accreditationsystem.info/ITA/Indice.asp

–      attach all required documentation (if not already submitted) to the form, in digital format

Required digital documentation:

–      a letter from your media organisation

–      for foreign journalists in Italy: a note verbale issued by the Embassy in Rome of your media organisation’s country.

If you are unable to complete the online accreditation procedure, please send your application by email to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation’s Press and Institutional Communication Service, address accreditamentostampa@esteri.it (tel. 06/3691.3432-8573-8210).

Accredited journalists, photographers and TV crews should enter the Ministry by the main entrance (left-hand side) at 8:45.
