On Monday 4 May at 10:30, the Farnesina will host the seminar “EU and its neighbours: charting the way forward”, organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in collaboration with the Latvian Presidency of the European Union and the International Affairs Institute (IAI).
The event, entirely dedicated to the topic of the European Neighbourhood Policy (ENP) in all its various dimensions — southern, and eastern — will open with an address by Under-Secretary of State Sen. Benedetto Della Vedova.
Other speakers will include, Latvian Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs Andrejs Pildegovičs, President of the International Affairs Institute Ferdinando Nelli Feroci and other esteemed members of academic and cultural spheres.
Farnesina Secretary General Michele Valensise will close the event at 16:00.

Accredited members of the press will be admitted at the main entrance to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, left side, at 9:45.
