The Farnesina will host a conference at 10:00 on 13 July in its International Conference Room entitled “Anti-corruption activities in Italy and abroad”.

The conference’s opening speakers will be Minister Paolo Gentiloni and President of the National Anti-Corruption Authority (ANAC) Raffaele Cantone. Participants will include members of the diplomatic corps accredited in Italy, and session moderator will be Inspector General of the MFAIC Min. Plen. Luigi Maccotta.

The conference intends to provide a panorama on Italian anti-corruption activities both on national soil and around the world.

The initiative is the result of strong collaboration between the Farnesina and ANAC in promoting relations with international organisations engaged in  fighting corruption (UN. OECD; G20, G7, EU, World Bank, etc.), strengthening bilateral relations with analogous organisations in partner countries, more effectively applying of Italian anti-corruption  legislation to the MFAIC and fostering transparence.
