Accreditation Notice: Radicalism, Censorship and Dialogue in Muslim Media and Society (Farnesina, 27 October)

On Tuesday 27 October a conference on “Radicalism, Censorship and Dialogue in Muslim Media and Society” will take place at the Farnesina. The event will run from 10.00 to 16.30 in the Aldo Moro room.

The event is organised by the Farnesina’s Analysis, Planning and Historic-Diplomatic Documentation Unit and by Reset – Dialogues on Civilizations (DOC). Its aim is to analyse the constantly evolving relationship between radicalism, especially in its recent form, in the Arab and Muslim world and the world of the old and new media at the local and global levels.

Participants at the conference will include scholars, analysts, journalists and diplomats. The event will include a presentation of the analyses and papers produced over the last two years by Reset DOC in the “Arab Media Report”, which analyses media, information and telecommunications systems in the Arab world.

  • for foreign journalists in Italy: a note verbale issued by the Embassy in Rome of your media organisation’s country.

Accredited journalists, photographers and TV crews should use the main entrance, left-hand side, which will be open from 09.00 to 09.50.
