On Tuesday, 23 February, the anniversary of the Lateran Treaty and the Concordat Amendment Agreement will be celebrated at the Italian Embassy to the Holy See (Palazzo Borromeo), in the presence of the highest institutional offices of the Italian State and the Holy See.
The bilateral government meetings will start at 4:15 pm.
Journalists, photographers and TV crews interested in following the event are requested to apply for online accreditation by completing the interactive form via the link http://mae.accreditationsystem.info/ITA/Indice.asp” href=”http://mae.accreditationsystem.info/ITA/Indice.asp”>http://mae.accreditationsystem.info/ITA/Indice.asp, attaching thereto, unless already provided, the digital documentation requested (letter from the respective media organisation and, for representatives of foreign media, the Note Verbal issued by the Embassy in Rome of the media organisation’s country) no later than 1 pm on 22 February 2016.
If it is not possible to complete the online accreditation procedure, applications should be sent by email to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation’s Institutional Press and Communication Service at the following address: accreditamentostampa@esteri.it (tel. 06/3691.3432-8573-8210).
Security checks will take place exclusively at the Farnesina, according to the following procedure.
Access to Palazzo Borromeo will not be permitted by private vehicle and to anyone who has not undergone the aforesaid checks. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation will provide a shuttle service from Farnesina (rear entrance, Via Macchia della Farnesina) to Palazzo Borromeo and back.
For security reasons, access to Palazzo Borromeo will not be permitted to journalists, photographers and TV crews who have not be accredited according to the above procedure.
Accredited journalists, photographers and TV crews are kindly required to arrive at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation – rear entrance on Via Macchia della Farnesina – Tuesday, 23 February from 1:45 pm and no later than 2:45 (please be punctual).
Appropriate dress for the occasion is requested.
If live broadcasts are planned, please provide the vehicle registration numbers and the names of the technical staff for authorisation to be given for them to operate exclusively outside Palazzo Borromeo (accreditamentostampa@esteri.it).
