On Thursday, 5th May, at 10.15, the Seventh Meeting of the Italy-China Government Committee will take place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The plenary session will be opened by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Paolo Gentiloni, and by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China, Wang Yi.
On the same day, the two Ministers will meet at Villa Madama and will subsequently hold a joint press conference (expected at 14.30).
The following press events are planned:
- 10.15 (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) – plenary session
- 10.50 (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) – family photo, open to photographers and TV crews
- 14.30 (Villa Madama) – joint press conference
- 15.30 (Villa Madama) – Italy-China Business Forum
Journalists, photographers and TV crews interested in attending the press events are requested to apply for online accreditation by completing the interactive form at http://mae.accreditationsystem.info/ITA/indice.asp, attaching thereto, unless already provided, the information requested in digital format (letter from the media organisation and, for representatives of foreign media, Nota Verbale issued by the Embassy in Rome of the media organisation’s country). Accredited press representatives may access the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as follows:
- between 9.15 and 9.45, via the rear entrance on Via Macchia della Farnesina – for the plenary session
- between 13.00 and 14.10, via the rear entrance on Via Macchia della Farnesina – for the Press Conference As Villa Madama is closed to private traffic, a shuttle service will run between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Villa Madama and back from around 13.00.
