ACCREDITATION NOTICE – “Italy and China – New Media to Promote the Countries’ Economic Systems” (Farnesina, 19 September)

On Monday, 19 September, at 11:30 a.m., the Farnesina will host “Italy and China – New Media to Promote the Countries’ Economic Systems”. The event, organised by Uni-Italia in conjunction with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI), China Radio International and the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China, is dedicated to the cooperation between the two Countries in the field of communication and radio telephony. Special focus will be concentrated on the CinItalia App, the first app for mobile phones developed by China Radio International providing useful information, in Italian and Chinese, to the general public of the two Countries, especially to the young.

The event, moderated by the MAECI’s Director General for Cultural and Economic Promotion and Innovation, Vincenzo De Luca, will be attended by the Undersecretary of State for Economic Development (MiSE), Antonello Giacomelli, the Deputy Minister and Director General of China Radio International, Wang Gengnian, the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Italy, Li Ruiyu, the Director General for the student, development and internationalization of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR), Maria Letizia Melina, the Ambassador of Italy to the People’s Republic of China, Ettore Francesco Sequi, the City Councilor for Roma Semplice of Roma Capitale, Flavia Marzano, the Chief of Staff of the Director General of RAI, Guido Rossi. Contributions will also be made by representatives of ICE-Agenzia, Uni-Italia, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and of Chinese companies, who will testify to the closely-knit cooperation between the two Countries’ business communities.

Journalists, photographers and TV crews interested in following the event are requested to apply for online accreditation by filling the interactive form at the link http://mae.accreditationsystem.info/ITA/Indice.asp, attaching thereto, unless already provided, the information requested in digital format (letter from the media organisation and, for representatives of foreign media, also a Note Verbal released by the Embassy in Rome of the media organisation’s Country).

Accredited journalists, photographers and TV crews should enter the Ministry from the main entrance– left-hand side – starting from 11:00 a.m.
