On Monday 17 and Tuesday 18 of October 2016, Palazzo Vecchio, in Florence, will host the Joint Action for the Italian Language in the World, entitled “Italian, a living language”.
On Monday, 17 October the speakers will be: Prime Minister Matteo Renzi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Paolo Gentiloni, the Minister of Education, University and Research Stefania Giannini, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Mario Giro and the Mayor of Florence, Dario Nardella.
On Tuesday, 18 October, the conference proceedings will be closed by the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella.
Journalists, photographers and TV crews interested in following the event are requested to apply for online accreditation by filling the interactive form at the link http://mae.accreditationsystem.info/ITA/Indice.asp, attaching thereto, unless already provided, the information requested in digital format (letter from the media organisation and, for representatives of foreign media, also a Note Verbal released by the Embassy in Rome of the media organisation’s Country).
If it is not possible to complete the online accreditation procedure, applications should be sent by email to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation’s Institutional Press and Communication Service at the following address: accreditamentostampa@esteri.it (tel. + 39 06/3691.3432 or 8573 or 8210).
The deadline for applying for accreditation is 6 p.m. on Friday, 14 October
