ACCREDITATION NOTICE – Signing ceremony of two Protocols of Understanding between the MAECI and the Altagamma Foundation and between the MAECI and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) (Farnesina, 22 November 2016)

On Tuesday, 22 November, at 4:30 p.m. the Farnesina will host the signing ceremony of two Protocols of Understanding between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) and the Altagamma Foundation and between the MAECI and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA).

The Protocol Agreements will be signed by Foreign Minister Paolo Gentiloni and the President of Altagamma, Andrea Illy, and the FCA Group’s Chief Operating Officer Europe, Africa and Middle East (EMEA), Alfredo Altavilla. The event will also be attended by representatives of important Brand Italy manufacturing companies.

The MAECI has long been committed to the integrated promotion of Italy abroad, also through the events organised by Italy’s diplomatic and consular network and Cultural Institutes. In this approach, the big distinctive brands of “Made in Italy” products, and of the Italian style and excellence, assume special relevance.

This led to establishing a cooperation with the Altagamma Foundation which, starting from 1992, has united important industries from the cultural and creative point of view, recognised as mirroring the best of the Italian style in the world.

A similar initiative was promoted with the Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) Group, which owns the brands Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Chrysler, Dodge, Fiat, Fiat Professional, Jeep, Lancia, Ram and Maserati, and operates through companies located in 40 different countries.

Journalists, photographers and TV crews interested in following the event are requested to apply for accreditation in one of the following two ways:
