ACCREDITATION NOTICE – Meeting “EY Strategic Growth Forum Mediterranean” (Hotel Rome Cavalieri, 9 February 2017)

On Thursday, 9 February, at 1:30 p.m. the Hotel Rome Cavalieri Waldorf Astoria will host the “EY Strategic Growth Forum™ Mediterranean:  – Accelerating growth in a connected Mediterranean region“, organised by Ernst&Young and which will be open with remarks by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Angelino Alfano.

The Forum will continue on 10 February and will focus on the investment and development opportunities in the Mediterranean Basin, with an eye on the possibility of establishing partnerships in the Middle and Far East.

In the two-day event, entrepreneurs, investors, government officials and opinion leaders from Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, India and China will discuss topical issues in several round tables.

The Forum will be attended by: Fadhel Abdelkéfi, the Minister of Development, Investment and International Cooperation of Tunisia; Ahmed Maiteeq, the Deputy Prime Minister of Libya; Samuele Furfari, adviser to the Director General of the European Commission’s DG Energy and Fathallah Sijilmassi, Secretary General of the Union for the Mediterranean.

In particular, the agenda envisages an in-depth analysis of four cross-cutting topics: technology and the impact of digital systems, renewable energy sources and energy efficiency, security and cyber-security, infrastructure and logistics.
