Agrigento will host the 1st Italo-Libyan Economic Forum on Friday 7 and Saturday 8 July 2017. The meeting will be attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Angelino Alfano, and the Libyan Deputy Prime Minister, Ahmed al Maiteeg.
The Forum will explore economic and industrial cooperation opportunities between Italy and Libya, by bringing together for the first time representatives of the Italian entrepreneurial, financial and consultancy world and top officers of the Libyan government. The meeting, which will be opened by Minister Alfano and Libya’s Deputy Prime Minister Maiteeg, will be organised into four panels, each on a specific theme: investments, infrastructure, energy and networks and financial tools.
